  • Fleet Multi-Service TechnicianUnder the supervision of the Fleet Supervisor, to provide rapid and efficient battery service, light duty service and towing service to members with automotive difficulties. Responsible for promoting and supporting a safe work environment.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following statements which are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed:

    • Assist member in a vehicle breakdown situation: Receive call from call center, acknowledge the call, drive to determined area, position service vehicle, confirm arrival with call center, investigate situation with member and explain required service to member.
    • Independently make on-site decisions applying Club policy and guidelines solving problems on-site.
    • Maintain service vehicle including cleaning vehicle’s exterior, cleaning vehicle’s interior, check on-board inventory, inspect tools, inspect equipment, inspect communication systems, inspect/pack safety equipment, inspect consumables, pack and verify paperwork stock.
    • Diagnose and, if possible, remedying minor automotive problems such as jump starting dead batteries, unlocking vehicles, changing tires, providing fuel, removing hanging mufflers, removing stuck keys and freeing stuck parking brakes.
    • When necessary, tow a vehicle to a requested destination using safety chains and or straps and methods conforming to industry standards.
    • When requested, perform battery service in accordance to establish policies and procedures including; testing vehicle current drain, battery and charging system condition, prepare vehicle for battery installation, install replacement battery, explain warranty and complete necessary documentation.
    • Other duties may be assigned.

    Qualifications:
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. In addition, the applicant must be able to pass a DOT physical. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.     Education and/or Experience:
    High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Requires experience in the automotive repair field; must have knowledge of how to fix a wide variety of minor problems in innumerable vehicle types on the road. A valid state license (minimum two years experience), ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions with heavy loads and an acceptable driving record is required.

    Schedule # 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, 7:00am – 3:00pm; Sunday – 10:00am – 6:00pm
    Schedule # 3: Part time – Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, 10:00am – 6:00pm

    H.S. diploma or GED a must; 2-3 yrs of customer service experience; typing and basic computer skills are required; must have proper telephone etiquette and speak in a clear, understandable manner; must tactfully control interactions in order to efficiently obtain and give necessary information; must be able to clearly explain policies, benefits, and steps that will be taken; must be able to read maps, and be able to work on weekends and holidays.

    Schedule: Saturday – Wednesday, 6:30am – 3:00pm

  • Part-Time Travel Agent – Camp Hill OfficeTravel Agents are responsible for facilitating proper travel arrangements for AAA Members/clientele. Travel Agents work directly with clients to arrange accurate travel reservations for domestic and international destinations. Travel Agents must possess a working knowledge of world geography and destinations.

    Qualified candidates should have a degree in Travel & Tourism and/or six months to one year group travel and/or retail travel experience. CTC and/or DS certification highly desirable. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required. Excellent problem-solving skills are a must. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Good administrative proficiency and customer service skills. Outstanding organizational skills. Good oral communication skills and to be able to make presentations to large groups of people or in one-on-one conversation. Must be familiar with TPOS, Apollo, ARC and other similar systems.
